May 31, SAT NITE!!
What the??? Yeah, thats right!!! We are gonna roll with stuffed animals on our backs! Any size animals, any color, any kind of stuffed animal, just strap it, bungie it, or tape it on your back!
Is this some charity ride? Hells no! Imagine 500+ ridazz with all of the beautiful animals on our backs as we ride! (Have I totally lost it?) Feel free to also dress as an animal on this ride!
At the 7-11 stops, we'll all throw these up in the air at once!! Watch as a few hundred stuffed animals are in the air! But, please try to keep the same animal until the end. Yes, we are making this a dance/party/stuffed animal ride!!
At the end of the ride, we can all trade, or swap, or run over all of these stuffed animals!!!!!!!!! Or we can give them away to a kid's charity.
The playlist will be the best POLKA music you have heard!
Feel free to dance at all of the stops! If you dont like dancing,
then you are welcomed to do bmx/mountain bike stunts, fixie tricks, wheelstand, drag race or just drink orsmokeout (yes, i said it!) when we are stopped.
I've been wanting to do a full blown furries/animal attached to bike ride since I saw I think it was Annie with an Armadillo on her handlebars a couple months ago. This is gonna be so much freakin' fun! Maybe it'll be like the glo-ride where we left glowing crumbs all over the streets (not so good for the little prospect, but they were glowing litter at least!) and there will be stuffed animals to track us!
what if we take each of "Cheburashka's" limbs and rope them each to a bike and then on cue have the bikes take off in all four directions? If we do that to your "Cheburashka" while you watch... what will you do then? it will be a lynch mob, there won't be anything you can do. hahahahahaha.
At the 7-11 stops, we are going to be throwing these stuffed animals high in the air and catching them. Then, we are going to throw these in the air again, and catch someone else's stuffed animal. Then, we are going to throw these in the air, and catch a different stuffed animal. Then, we are .............................-------> Finally, before we ride off, we must find our original stuffed animal again....its going to be absolute chaos!!!!!!

I'v been looking for a reason to dress up as a big fuzzy teddy bear,this could be just what I'v been looking for.Now if I can just figure out how to keep my costume out of my chain ring,and smoke with out going up in flames.
I love to polka. Will you really play only polka music during the ride, or will this be another instance of giving into the mob, like what seems to have happened at the Blues Bros. ride?
To have a blues themed ride, and then to not play only blues music dilutes the whole idea.

Hells yes, POLKA! I only have a few songs, they are kind of funny but cool at the same time. But I'll try to download some more. It would probably be best if everyone stuck their polka music on their ipods, and we can switch them out.

HELP!!!! I need more polka music!!! Ive downloaded as much polka as possible (there must be a shortage) and only ended up with about 1 1/2hours. If you guys have some good polka, please throw it on your ipod, and we will play it at some point.

Definitely a superb, incomparable, fine example of what a real, fire mission should be.
Stuffed animals flying the air, gargantuan bear crashing into my head, busting into the Baskin Robbins before it shuttered, strawberry-beer shakes, Harry acting like Biggles while pulling the trailer through the maze of cycles.
Then there was that nice, carne asada burrito I downed with user1 and some others at the final stop before I headed back to Van Nuys to get this one prick's load finished.
The only negative thing I recalled about the evening was while corking near the 101 overpass, some overly impatient, ass starting screaming and complaining about traffic holdups.
I said, "I love you too, honey!" and snapped a pic.
All in all, that turnout was quite massive, and will get bigger once school gets out, weather gets warmer, etc.,

legit ride folks. been a while for me since i've rode in northholly. got to see faces i haven't seen in like half a year or so. good to see you guys again.
i had been talking about the ride all week and in the end i didn't make it. i'm so bummed. i wish i could go back in time and drink a red bull or something. i had too much fun at the beach party and my body was done.

I loved the Polka and the Banda that was playing afterwards. Good stuff... That huge bear flying in the air was funny... I did see one guy get socked when the dude in front of him threw a bear and he got caught in on the lip... ouch...
Britt... it sucks that happened to you and others. This is a first I've heard something like this on a ride. Hopefully we can find a pic of him when pics go up...

Well, the ride was amazing, obviously. My first ride, and of course we got lost because we fell too far behind. Had to bike home from Noho to Silver Lake, and lemme tell you, that was FUN. Although, Silver Lake meant party, and party meant good, and sleeping in 'til 1:30 is also so very very good.

There was CONSTANT PARTY STIMULUS on this ride... Not a dull second went by! There was always something to do, being that stuffed animals never stopped raining from the sky, people never stopped dancing, and friendly faces never stopped laughing & having a good time!
What a supremely kickass ride. This weekend rocked.
Also thanks to the people who helped clean shit up after each stop! I tried to grab at least 3 carries of cans / shit to the trash before we left each time.
Even if a third of the people on the ride would just do one carry of 4 or so empty cans / bottles we would be on our way and people might start to catch on. Ideally we would not have to have a cleanup crew waiting back after everyone leaves.
Well, the weather gets warmer and all sorts of new faces are coming out of the woodworks.
Taking pictures is cool, but that shit with the weirdo sounds creepy, indeed.
I noticed that guy poking around and running all over the place, but with all the other shit going down, I played it off as another reveler.
