Wow this is the second company I've had good luck with. First company was Bike Planet. I had a light acting up on me. I contacted them and they sent me out a new one after I sent them the old one. Just now I got an email back from Crank Bros regarding their squeaky pedals. They said send them back and we'll take care of it. This was after I tried to take it back to REI and they were giving me shit for it. REI was going to take them, but I wasn't going to get a replacement pair. Just some credit towards a new pair.
YAH for Bike Planet, Crank Bro, and Specialized!
Your shit breaks, they just might take care of you if you ask.

It's senility Marino. BTW, that's also my excuse if I get too grumpy. So I basically got a green light to tear anyone a new ahole.

BTW this is what I got back from Specialized. The frame I had was life time warranty.
The dealers didn't ask me for my ID, so if you ever buy a used bike, try to get the receipt with it. That's the original receipt, not the one from your seller.

I remember that "guidelines for deletion" thread and the one that came before that. It was deleted. Now REI is giving you trouble with your returns
Cateye has the best return policy in my experience. Just send them the broken item with your return address, they send you a new one no problem. Planet bike would make me call and get a return number. Was kind of a pain in the ass for me to deal with Planet Bike. Park tools is good but you have to call them first too. Topeak won't even talk to you, you might be able to get a replacement on a broken part if you go through a store.

My experience with Topeak was really good. I needed a new head on my bike pump and they sent me a better head -- one that also showed tire pressure. I was very happy with Topeak.

I've sent a few lights back to cateye and they've always sent me brand new ones to replace them, no questions asked.

after some wrangling - mainly because I lost my receipt - at Wheel World I was able to get a new frame traded in for my snapped 2006 specialized allez. fortunately I had a bank statement with the transaction on it otherwise I would have been SOL. save your receipts children! the new frame rules though, comes with forks and headset and seat post!

Also...
Camelbak = awesome
For all the MTBer's and street riders who have one, they supposedly have a really good warranty program: I have yet to try it myself, but I've heard so many good things about them.
hell, I've had my camelbak for years: I use them every single day, and nothing has gone wonky so far.
Camelbaks > water bottles, road or mountain.

Performance sent me back a replacement seat I sent them a week ago. They have a 100% satisfaction on their products. I thought the seat failed way before it's time. So they replaced it for free!
