Hey sorry about that. Eric is right My comment came off pretty lame reading it back. This is definitely about fun above all else and the tall bike division is obviously even more so about fun more than a serious competition. My bad.
Just saying that The sprints will def be treated seriously for all the divisions. We will have qualifiers and time each run precisely even for the tall bikes. I just didn't want to lose focus that this is a competitive event for men and women division sprints. Again apologies.

This was the first time I ever saw Roadblock in action.
Was going to introduce myself, but he seemed to heavily concentrated with timekeeping and whatnot.
That seizure of the tunnel also sucked ass on so many levels.
I was going to try and qualify on my tank of a Hummer, but seeing as I didn't get much sleep over, two days, this wasn't going to happen safely.
Other than that, Angelopes and this as a closing festivity was all I needed for a morning of test-taking.
Not to mention all the faces I ran into after not seeing them for so long.

Hey all first of all I want to send a BIG THANKS to SC_NOMAD, BEATRIZ, COLE, JT and his Lady, BICIKILLER LEE, TWO WHEELS GOOD, and the many people who helped out with organizing and trying to keep the chaos to a minimum.
We're obviously very disappointed that the race got shut down in the tunnel. there were about 4 times the amount of people from last year way more than we expected and there was lot of Chaotic noise that made it nearly impossible to communicate... it looks like next time we're gonna have to go legit with getting a permit if we ever do the tunnel again.
the final location for the race ended up being San Fernando blvd and Riverside Home Depot. We had to re do all the qualifiers from the tunnel and finally got done around 4:30am. Thanks to everyone who stayed till the end and made it fun.

Great turnout for the race. When we got there there were about 10 people. I didn't think it was going be more that 100 people but was I wrong. Both ends of the tunnel were full of people, more than we ever expected. We learned a few things this race and the next ones going to run smoother.
Thanks to Roadblock and WolfRider1 for another great race. The swag for the people that stayed was a nice touch.

Man this is messed up about BRANDT-SORENSON. I hope you're doing better dude. That's got to be scarier than shit hitting a car at that speed.
I don't understand the cops logic that night. They were telling us that we couldn't be there cause drunks were getting out of the bars. Yet there's no problem scattering everyone during this period. I guess if there was a drunk that did take out half the crowd in the tunnel, he'd have a point there. Still I would have rather taken my chances in the tunnel then be riding on the streets in onesies and twosies.
