So the heavy metal ride part 3 is in april and we have been talking about having a band play for the after party. Right now it would be roadblock on guitar and myself on the drums. we need someone that can play bass and another guitar player would be awesome. as for vocals, i thought it would be a cool idea to have like a "karaoke" type thing. The band can learn a bunch of songs, post the song list here and if anybody wants to sing a song they can learn whichever they like from the list.
so if anybody here can play bass and guitar, please let me know. plz no n00bs. should have atleast a couple years playing and can rock out with their cock out! haha
I dont play any instrument per say but what i can do like a pro is rock out with my cock out all night i can def fill that position if its not taken yet..
dont really have one but i wanna get this band going by next month so we can practice. roadblock wants to do ac/cd songs but i wanna do other bands as well. the only guns n' roses song i wanna do is "nightrain". if you want a specific song that u would like us to play, let me know so i can add it to the list of songs to learn.
I have hippy-metal hair (ask Duderina) and the Doobie Brothers old bass rig (two consecutive serial # Ampeg SVT's (1976) and matching squareback cabs. Super fucking bass overkill....
play lots of the "von scott" year songs. like "if you want blood" - "whole lotta rosie" - "girl's got rhythm" - "jail-break" - "big balls", etc.
i've been listening to alot of that on my mp3 this year and doing some car and bike karaoke to the von scott tunes. it's a good if not comically funny and good impersanation of the great man.

you guys should play some GOREFEST anything off their second album or before they turned into pussies would suffice.... Reality is When you Die would be KILLER.
i know a bunch of spots we can practice. I mean its like 15bux an hour but they have amps, mic's and drums. also, we can talk and set practice dates so we can all make it.
