TNS and WNDSRS are a bunch of riders who were all recently in jail for sexual harassment and are out now. its kinda like a group support meeting.
Bicykillers are a chock full of CA's top racers who win by default and forfeiture.
818 Bike Polo is a group that meets at a hockey rink that smashes around in circles hooting and hollering at each other. watch out for this one that has a knack for breaking ur bike.
TORE is like a roving pot cloud. i cant really say much aobut it bc im too high after their rides and cant remember much.
SFVCM is basically TNS and WNDSRS but at an earlier time.
Pedal Punx happens when all these rides/groups meet together and fight. they use broom sticks and rocks. thats it.

anyhoo, aside from all this bullshitting from the spammers who never fail to make people from the valley look like complete jackasses bc they think it's badass, or something, polo is actually a pretty cool gig and is played worldwide as an organized sport. 818 polo is a good starting point as the crew is well recognized in the major cities that actually matter in polo. good opportunity to travel and meet people who are hardxcore about the same, all of whom are pretty impressive bc it takes actual skill and coordination. yknow, based on my observations, bc i seen it the best teams play wiff my own eyes.

Anyone familiar with Bellaire Ave which runs North and South that’s in between Whitsett and Coldwater Canyon… in North Hollywood? I rode it going home from Victory to Chandler and it reminded me of 4SBB. So nice and smooth. But… I’ve ridden Strathern and taking that into San Fernando Rd… that place is a little sketchy. I’m planning on taking Bellaire from Strathern and taking all the way down to Chandler. Anyone live or familiar w/ that area?

Lanark st is nice from van nuys to woodman, which turns into cantara st (a nice straight street with little traffic) up until coldwater. From there you can connect to bellaire from coldwater.

You described my exact route from my work to Coldwater. They just repaved a stretch of it from Kaiser… nice! Wonderful alt to Roscoe.
I rode down Whitsett and man was that thing bumpy. North is nice though (appreciate the help Two Wheels). Nice and fast. Not as much traffic. But South.. not a good idea. I’m going to drive down Bellaire and check it out today. Thanks again everyone!

Yup... Bellaire is only nice after Victory... turns out to be pretty shady from Strathern to Victory. Extra shady from Raymer to Sherman Way. Gonna stay on Laurel Cyn. I saw one unmarked cruiser, heard a beer can open right next to me when the saw that I wasn't a cop. I have the amber lights up front.
I then looked at the lapd street crime map and man n. hollywood has a lot of activity. Then went to streetgangs.com and man there's a lot of them in the Van Nuys/North Hollywood area.
Just gonna stick on the main roads....

Al, I actually live around that area and take bellaire starting from saticoy (just south of strathern) all the way past victory... and have never had issues with anyone, vandals or cops.

That's makes me feel better. I'm gonna do it. I guess talking to a friend kinda freaked me out when she said something about Alley Locos or something like that around Bellaire and Sherman Way. I just read my post and made I kinda made it seem really bad. But by getting actual feedback makes me feel better. It's a really nice street. Smooth... so I'm gonna do it. Thanks July!
