Is there still a laminator floating around somewhere or did it die?

I have the "official" laminator, but it hasn't been working so well. I also have my own and can help with the spoke card making for the ride if needed.

If you make lots of spoke cards for different rides you may consider purchasing a laminator. I used the one that Mr. Rollers has, and I found it to be very good. No carrier needed, no air bubbles in the finish card. I read reviews of Rlr'z laminator and found that it is important to put the right size (mil) of laminating sheets vs, how thick the piece of paper. If it is too thin off paper and laminating sheet, the card and the lamination sheet will get stuck in the machine.

The Royal Pl2112 is the one Mr Rlz has, it is $39.99 through the Royal web sight. I don't know what the cost is for shipping

Also, you may want to think ahead and buy laminating sheets on line. Ebay I have found has suppliers with the best price I 've seen.
5 mil thickness works the best. The best price on ebay is $15 for 100 count 9-1/2' x 12", 5mil, with ten dollars for shipping. = $25. I think for the same plastic at a office supply store, is $45-$50 for the same thing. It ends up saving you money in the long run, especially if your going to be making spoke cards in the future.

Joe Borfo knows a place to have them done, that is super inexpensive, but the thickness is 2 or 3mils, too thin for my taste.

I don't know anything about it, could be a piece of crap, but HF is pretty good on returns and the internet sales only can be picked up at the store for free.

I've used the laminator at Kin Kos and brought my own laminate. They also have laminate but it's about $2 or $3 per sheet. Their laminator works very well.

Call me old school or call me cheap....
but an iron on low setting works great too.

Use a hard surface (book or wood) and cover your laminating sheet with a sheet of paper before you press.

Save a few bucks and some closet space.
