THE RIDE WAS EVERYTHING THAT I WANTED AN THEN SOME I GOT TO RIDE MY FIXIE IN A 12 FOOT KIDNEY POOL AT A SKATE PARK, SMASHED DOWN SOME SICK ASS HILLS, GOT TO SEE SOME GREAT VIEW OF LOS ANGELES, GOT TO EXPLORE NEW GROUNDS, ROAD OUR BIKES TWICE THROUGH THE L.A.X AIR PORT, A RUN IN WITH THE LAW, BUT A GOOD ONE THEY THOUGHT THAT THE BIKE RIDE WAS COOL, GOT DRUNK AN FADED, FARTED ON LUIS'S HEAD WHEN HE WAS ASLEEP, AND MOST OF ALL I THREW A SMOKING HOT BALL OF MARSHMELLOWS AT TALL BIKE MATT! Now that all the "wrong" [culturally different [read:different socio-economic, capital letter writing, grammar deficient, non-F.U.N.] kids are throwing themselves on that universal tool, the Bicycle, we have a fucking crisis.
Granted, stealing and tagging are superbly stupid and destructive methods of behavior, but that's only a recent addition to the time honored Ridazz tradition of fucking with traffic, littering, drinking in public, and general lack of respect to surrounding 'hoods that has been taking place for years.
So... Common sense. Now that the general public is realizing that bicycles are indeed a useful way for transportation and to congregate, we're going to start seeing people outside our norms engaging in shit we don't agree with.

Oh contraire this issue can hardly be compared to the Ride Arc ride. Yeah the Ride Arc ride uses an email list (mostly) to get the word out about the ride. Then there's someone that relays the email on to this list. That's quite a bit different than what we have here.
Did you guys forget what the ethnos of MR was founded on? It's built on being open and inclusive. It's not Mean Spirited or Non-inclusive.
Maybe someone needs to go back and read up on what MR is all about, yes?

So true USER1. But this ride isn't midnight ridazz it is called and is ROBOTZ, not midinght ridazz. This site is used to post rides if you wish. The thread is used to talk about a variety of things of whatever anybody wants to post including "islands of trash", political propaganda, and what fragrances men are wearing. No real rules, just a request for common decent behavior on the threads.
Suggestion. Why not friend request all of the different personality from people that like to go on rides on that community facebook account. I heard that how Knittenz notifies users of the Robotz rides through facebook.
I was wondering if it would be ok to make friends with people on that facebook account? Didn't want to assume liberties.

And sexy it doesn't have to be a MR ride to follow under the ethnos of what MR follows. Just being posted on this site would do it. At least that's what I read it as. So all rides are built on being open and inclusive, and not Mean Spirited. If it doesn't follow that simple philosophy, then why welcome it?
Remember, I'm not against them running their ride the way they want, just posting in here like they did today. Sure you're not going to stop them from doing so, but you can show them it's not right.

There;s a few rides that don't post their start time/location on MR for whatever reason.
In my opinion they aren't being all that exclusive... you can go if you know someone that has the info...there's no bouncer at the door checking a list.
I think they just want to make sure that their ride isn't ruined by strangers that don't socialize in the community, but just show up to whatever ride they see posted cause its a safe place to drink in public, tag and steal.
