THE WARRIORZZ RIDE
Thread started by
Roadblock at 03.6.07 - 4:46 pm
Ok this is how it's gonna go down.... a little different of a format so try not to get too drunk before attempting!
Basically we're playing one big giant game of hide and go seek. It's up to the gangs from all four corners to roll out and find the elusive WARRIORZZ. (be careful they are extremely self hating)
The TURF
The area is marked by the following boundaries:
Santa Monica BLVD. to the North
Wilshire Blvd.to the SOUTH
La Cienega blvd to the WEST
and Highland AVE. to the EAST
THE PLOT
The WARRIORZZ a motley yet extremely violent and self hating gang of bicycle dorks, need to get to the Los Angeles bicycle gang summit at PAN PACIFIC PARK.
They need to get there by MIDNIGHT!! or else!! or else they will miss some of the important keynotes of Cyrus's speech and have to bum notes and look unprofessional amongst their rival gang members.
The problem is that EVERYONE of the other gangs is looking to ride with the WARRIORZZ and roll up to the spot in one large mass.
THE GOAL
Roll out at 10PM and FIND THE WARRIORZZ. RIDE WITH THEM TO PAN PACIFIC PARK.
Everyone corner rolls out at 10pm. Be the first to find the WARRIORZZ on their secret route through the Turf and get a special spoke card. There will only be a couple hundred of these things....
THE START POINT
There are 4 start points located near or at the 4 corners of the turf boundary. Each of these groups will ride as one. If you put together your own gang and want to roll seperate that's cool too.
Does this make sense?
reply
hmmm..... consider this a prequel to the Warriors. this epic tale covers the lead up to the summit. so tragic right? everyone was on the Warriorzz nuts before the summit, high fives all that. but after Bycirus was assasinated, well boy howdy did things change!
Roadblock03.6.07 - 4:51 pm
reply
RB... so after each group meets around each one of the 4 corners... each corner rolls at 10pm towards PanPac Park? Looking for the Warriorzz ride? So if one group can't find the Warriorzz by midnight... we should just head to the park? Basically... there's going to be all these ridazz crossing each other within that boundary? Causing panic through Melrose, Fairfax, and Wilshire? OH YEAH!

So the idea is to have 4 groups of several hundred riders ride around for 2 hours in a 4 square mile area to meet up in a park in the middle? This seems like a fun idea for 50 or 60 riders.
tavis03.6.07 - 10:05 pm

do we need to make the boundaries wider? I was trying to keep it tighter so the likelyhood of the Warriorzz getting discovered would be greater. I didnt go to Ride Creation college so any suggestions would help. lol.
Roadblock03.6.07 - 11:01 pm
reply
nahhh... keep it tight!!
if the streets can handle hundreds of Ridazz at any one given point when we're riding together en masse, then the streets can handle a bunch of mini groups of Ridazz riding around..
this is going to be so fun!
maybe we could have a giant game of footdown in the park somewhere afterward???

ok here's what I need from all the Ridazz..... we got two of the corners covered. I need volunteers to head up the other two corners and basically just handle getting the ride going. It's going to be up to all the corners and bicycle gangs to get in motion and on the hunt! There are no preplanned routes for the corners.... so if you guys want to make it up on the fly or just randomly make your way to PAN PACIFIC PARK it's all gravy.
IF you are one of the bicycle crews that already exist then hit one of rht ecorners just to start so people dont feel lonely if they need to clique up with one of you guys.....
there will be a limited number of spoke cards made. if you catch up with the WARRIORZZ you will get one... if ya dont do it quick enough you SOL. ha
can someone bring some dodgeballs so we can have a dodge ball rumble in the park. oh and peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches! I'm kidding but that would be kinda fun.
I want a group of about 20 for the WARRIORZZ. I got a few but are there any more volunteers? email me roadblock $$$$AT¢¢¢¢ midnightridazz %%%%DOT****** calm

I got an idea for the NW corner, (if that the corner not covered?).
All of those not in a gang come friday night, put on a white T-shirt
writer OPRHANS on the black in magic marker or what ever ink you want to use. Bring a newspaper clipping that show what a bad azz bopper you are.
All those without a gang now got a crew.

SW - Savage Huns

re: tanner
Midnight Ridazz has always been a themed ride. It's almost always more fun if you get into the theme and roll with it. But it's not necessary.
A dingy green/drab t-shirt with the words ORPHANS hand scrawled with a sharpie is being suggested for people with no time to make proper attire. Or feel free to create your own. Think 70s-early 80s.
Or wear spandex and pleathers.
Just don't dress up like a Bike Messenger, I hear people don't like that.
