Happy Belated Birthday Mr. GOpez!!!
Yes it was Eddy's B day yesterday! The guy is too modest to post up himself. We need to do a heavy metal celebration for our rock god. If not this weekend, he'll be rolling with a group on Tuesday or Wednesday, I'll know more after the weekend. Wish him well and save a beer for his b day beer shower!
I would have posted this yesterday or sooner, but I learned this yesterday and I was out doing bicycling stuff yesterday. I blame Eddy for this!

who can guess (just by the way i look) how old i turned yesterday?
and do you think i am as old as i really am? if the answer is no, i acredit it to the cycling i've engulfed my life with. cycling is truly a fountain of youth. i encourage you all to do it more and more as you turn a year older. wait til we are 80 and only look 50 something. it only gets better and it will only get better. the more we do it the younger we will look and get. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!

You are so correct about the age/apearance thing.
I just turner 57, but I've been running for 42 years and cycling for 22 years.
Not only does all this activity keep me fit and healthy (as long as I don't crash), but the joy of the activity and the great life-long friends I have made are the whip cream and cherry on the top of the whole thing.
I hope we all run into each other in a bike lane 20 years from now.
Oh, Eddie, I STILL have your "Tern of the Century" sopke card. When am I going to see you?

Santacon, i so wanted to go but had to be SANTA, SUPERMAN and SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS all in one day. i was booked all day. i thought of joining you guys late at night with my santa suit (btw it was very nice and authentic - so authentic that i will wear it to the toy ride). but i was exhausted. i crashed early and woke up early only to work some more this morning and afternoon. next year for sure.
