Custom made Seven to fit me all so right. I would love it to be carbon, but then it would just break and at worse I might hurt myself.
Now that you brought it up maybe a custom made Seven with carbon and titanium or steel designed in a way when the carbon cracks I can replace it. No this is still a bad idea.
As long as the bike fits rights, rolls really nice, has top end components and I have complete control over it, I'll would call it a really dreamy bike.
I was able to have control over that Giant I lost. No worries about anybody cutting you off or 'holding their line' when riding a bike that you have complete control over. That was why I loved that bike.
I already own my dream bike. My Surly Steamroller is so badass it can barspin with a 700x28 front tire, and the dropouts on the back are soo loong I can run a street cog, and a polo cog, with a 700x35 tire (for bunnyhopping and skidding) in the back. Did I mention I can stunt, race, and play polo all on one bike? Oh yeah and it fits me! Believe it or not, a 62cm frame with track dropouts are really expensive and hard to come by, this one was $225 for the frame fork and headset. And it's charcoal gray with a glitter coat, and the most relaxed geometry this side of a LAZY boy recliner!
Today I found my offical dream bike. At first I thought it was the 2010 Cervelo P4 with full Shimano Di2 and a HED wheelset but for some reason this bike beat that.
i did not even know the 496s were production, but they retail at 10k for frameset at R&A. for a bike at that price, theres a lot they could've done differently. the new ergostem is ugly as shit, a post into a mast?
flat black looks a little better. but the felt gets my money.
