Douchebag is a Ugly Word

Seems as if the word Douchebag has become the favorite adjective around here to describe someones action that someone else disapproves of, is unlawful, disrespectful of or just doesn't like.
Have you ever been referred to as a douchebag? Do you think that you would like to be referred to as a douchebag? I have been and it was quite insulting. The person who called me that is also a person who is supposedly a proponent of so called F.U.N. I was having fun and the person apparently didn't approve of my fun.
My point is, that it is insulting and is a poor general use of a adjective. Try to be more creative and accurate in your use of a adjective to call to attention to someones behavior that you don't like or may be harmful.
For example. What your saying over the megaphone sounds tacky. It might be taken offensively and make us as a crowd of cyclist look bad.
