Anywhere there exists decaying matter, there will be plenty of classical gas to go around.
And it was nice of them to allude to this energy suggestion in the post Peak-Oil epic, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.
"CAN YOU SHOVEL SHIT????"
Putting America to work, one large excrement pile at a time.
That's the UP difference.

I agree with everything on the video except what he's saying regarding fracking. Yeah he's done it for who knows how long, but there's far more damage than what he's claiming. Can fracking be done safely? Yes. Is it being done safely by the industry? No, not even close. And the agencies regulating this doesn't have a good track record either.
You can search the torrents for the documentary
Gasland and see it for yourself.

isn't that the guy who tried to get us to give out 5biilion dollars (10billion dollars with interest) to give rebates for cars and trucks that runs on his company fuel that dominates the market for this type of fuel. Yeah he sounds like somebody I trust. Thankfully the voters of our state saw through that scam.

There ain't enough natural gas left to run what we're running, how we're running it.
Better to focus on reducing demand and contracting our economy in a way that maintains a high quality of life.

is he a billionaire serving his own interest?
obviously.
However, I don't begrudge him if his goal is to help reduce the US dependance on foreign oil, even if he wants to get rich in the process.
Next to nothing gets accomplished in the country if somebody doesn't get rich in the process.
I think it takes looking every possible solution available and picking the best ones.
Converting commercial trucks to Natural Gas would be a huge step.
I would love to hear a convincing argument that continuing to use foreign oil is some how going to be better for the world.
We can all agree that it is insane for US to "fund both sides" of the "war on terror".
I think ending that lopsided foreign would be a great start.
My favorite part is when he called T.Boone the "Wilt Chamberlin of Fracking".

I'm starting to think twice about driving a CNG car because of the docu Gas Lands.
Am i contributing to "Fracking"? I would prefer if I knew that my CNG was coming from natural sources rather than those practices.
Frack me.

with any new or different technology changing the infrastructure would have to happen.
That is not an easy step. That kind of change take a generation or two. It a huge task.
Just think if we went to all natural gas. That means all of the engine or cars we now have would have to be converted or scraped. Also the the refineries would be replaced or scraped. You would have to create a whole new infrastructure of pipes to get the gas to market.
Some go with God. I go with Ubray02

Actually any gasoline car engine could handle natural gas, It would just require some tweaks for the engine to maintain a higher compression. It's not a complicated move. I still support CNG cars except for the practice of fracking. There are many ways to contain natural gas. Fracking is not an accepted method, but there are many other safer ways to contain it from the earth. It's super abundant and we ALL use it. I mean it comes out of our damn stoves. It's how most of us heat our homes. This whole fracking thing is about companies gettin greedy and it's not going to continue if we let it. Anyway, I hope you are happy that you can prove once again that I am in the wrong and you are on the righteous path, o great and noble PPBPGC leader.

It so underhanded to use the "your right" response. It like dropping A bomb and it ends the game.
My notivation is too bring up more thoughts about what is going to have to happen to move to technologies that will be better off for mankind (i know that is an open ended statement----I'm not the best writer---Cyper). The more indepth we think about all that will be involved the more we push towards implementing solutions.
