I'll be organizing the Encino Omnium 2 race which will be on June 5th, 2016. I hope everyone is excited about
this event as much as I am.
If any of you are looking to get certified at the Encino Velodrome or know of anyone who is interested in
learning how to ride the track please let me know! Im looking to get 25 MEN and WOMEN on the track so we
can have a mix of 50 new velodrome hopefuls. We will be charging a one time fee of $10 dollars, thats 35
dollars off the actual registration price.

We do a bmx ride every Tuesday. We meet at 7pm and roll out at 7:15 sharp. We've been doing this ride for over six years now and we've got about 4 to a dozen or so regular riders. Routes, distances and speed varies but we will at least do 10-15 miles round trip and sometimes 30 miles. We stop somewhere for food. Most of us ride 24 and 26 cruisers, some vintage some not, we don't discriminate, we just love the ride. You should not be intimidated by the length, you don't really feel it that much when playing with friends. Rain cancels.

 May 30th. 6am meet 7am ride. 70+ mile road ride with 10,000 feet of elevation gain. We’ll do a tour of the West Valley peaks. We will ride on regular roads, badly paved and unused roads and dirt roads. A cyclocross bike or Randonneuring bike would be ideal. We will stop once for people to re up on water use the toilet.
