The goal of this ride is to help cyclists increase their weekly mileage and enudrance. We meet, we hang out, we talk to Channel 4
At 8:30 we ride down Western Avenue to Exposition Boulevard and ride the route that the Expo line bike path SHOULD take if the Expo Construction Authority actually cared about cyclists.
This ride is our opportunity to demonstrate what the East-West route could look like if they would support cyclists.
The current plans for the Expo Bike Path call for an almost complete bike path that simply disappears at the tough points.

Lancaster City Park (10th Street West & K-8) Park and Ride lot.
Meet at 7:45pm - Ride starts promptly at 8:00pm.
Tour the most famous streets Lancaster has to offer.
Mostly bike lanes and lit streets.
Mello pace (around 13mph average) 20-25 miles - 2 - 2 1/2 hours total.
Lights and helmets recommended.
Good sized group, half fixed, half geared, occasional MTBer.

Have nothing exciting happening on a Wednesday night (13th). There is some beautiful world music happening in downtown. I am hosting a ride with European Gypsy music Playing from my sound system all the way to the event and back. the event is for 21 and over. If you get there early they won't check ID's. Bring 5 bucks for the show. If you want an amazing music adventure and a fun ride show up.

Cyclists’ Bill of Rights at Mar Vista Community Council TONIGHT

THIS IS LOCATED ON THE OTHER SIDE OF MAR VISTA PARK. THE MAJOR CROSS STREET IS PALMS AND SAWTELLE.
Tomorrow the Mar Vista Community Council is considering endorsing the Cyclists’ Bill of Rights (CBR.) Who wants to go and speak in support? We’ll meet at Bikerowave at 6:15 and ride over to the meeting at about 6:30pm. The Mar Vista Community Council meets at 7:00 pm at the Mar Vista Recreation Center Auditorium at 11430 Woodbine St (in the center of Mar Vista park.) Since the Cyclists’ Bill of Rights is 16th on the agenda, I think you can probably come at 8pm and be ok.
