Someone who has been to my house in the last month stole my external hard drive. Whoever it was you're a fucking douchebag. That drive has my whole life on it for the last 10 years. Every photo I've taken, every document, all my business files, all my emails, every personal thing.
I don't want to hear any shit about backing up since I've always done that but my backup drive broke about a month ago and I'm too broke to buy a new one right now.
All I want is the drive back. If you stole it, be cool and return it. I don't care who you are. I don't even want to know who took it. All I want is the drive. Leave it on the porch or in my back yard. Leave me a note in my mailbox where i can get it. I don't care. I just want the drive back.
Please don't post anything on this thread other than bumping it up so the asshole who took it sees this. I really don't care what anyone has to say. I just want the drive. I'm not reading this thread. Please just give me the drive back.
Dude, stealing someone's shit, particularly something like a hard drive, is just low. People have tons of records, that they used to keep on paper, on digital these days. It really is an asshole thing to steal someone's external drive. Whoever you are, give it back.
to steal a hard drive is low... especially when someone opens up there home to you out of respect for the biking community. they let you into their home an trusted you and you repay them by "shitting on their floor."

yeah it's definitely not in the house. i tore the place apart looking for it, and there really isn't any reason it ever would have moved anyway. It's always right on top of the computer.

Holy fucking shit!!!! I just got home and guess what was sitting on the chair on my porch. My hard drive. The douchebag who stole it returned it. The drive still works and everything is still on it. You're still a major asshole, but thanks for realizing what you did and returning the drive.
