The first Ground Zero ride...It's a bike ride....Last Friday of the month...Meet at 12th and Broadway in the South East corner parking lot. Tentatively we're riding at 8pm. Meet up any time earlier. Free parking in the parking lot and on Main Street.
Not sure how this is going to work yet...we may have a set route or we may have a set stopping point and work our way thru the city to get to the stop...either way, come check it out.
Last Friday's of the month for years now have been primarily Critical Mass rides....Unfortunately here in Los Angeles, our critical mass ride is escorted by approx. 100 police officers. This is not an alternative to LACM...This is just a bike ride on a Friday night. LACM meets at 7:30 at Wilshire and Western if you prefer to ride with the L.A.P.D.
Last month, an officer's motorcycle handlebars came within 6 inches of me on LACM as he passed me on my left. That's how this ride came about.
