I think I just might roll on through!

anyone want to make a ride of it? perhaps start off at Pure Luck for a beer at 6:30 pm?

 i was thinking about riding around there too..but i get off late so i'll probably ride solo if i get out of the house at all.

 I'll be there...got the free passes.

Might take the subway from downtown though because locking up around there might be a pain and they're not going to allow backpacks or other bags inside.

My guess is that there's gotta be a spot from the street where you can listen for free as well without getting in to the fenced off area.

 the passes get you up close to the stage. There were only 3000 of them...and they are gone. There will be projecting the performance on large screens surrounding the area. And you will probably be able to peer through the perforated green sheeting that is covering the chain link fence that surrounds the area.

 i've used 1iota several times but when they do it in the street, it's impossible to get in and you still can't see. at least from what i remember when jay z performed

 The trick with the concerts for the Kimmel show is to get there early during sound check. Then never leave the area where the band plays. It takes about 1-1/2 of hanging out talking to the security guards like you are suppose to be there, but then you don't have to wait in the outside line and you can be up front if you chose. Just bring a mag or a walkman or a good friend to chat with when you and security get board with each other.
