Cable Locked (pffft) between the parking lots and HSS building.

Molly just did the police report and there was a 2nd bike stolen right next to her. This was clearly and 'operation' and the officer said it happens about once a month.
Wow. WTF.

There's that red/white specialized that gets locked, ignoring the front wheel, with a rather flimsy looking cable lock. I wonder when that one will be taken. I once left a note to the person and the advice is being completely ignored.

Get this, someone at UCLA left their brand new Trek with the front tire ulocked to the frame- but out in the open, not locked up to anything, propped up with its kickstand. I was surprised it was still there in the afternoon. Very much wanted to leave a note on that one..

bikes stolen at smc? damn.... i saw the campus police locking somebodys bike to the rails in the science building... fucking dude has 2 aerospokes on his cop bike haha

I am willing to kick in five bucks towards a U-lock for Molly. If we can get enough donations, that is one less bike that will be stolen. in the future.

I had class in the hss building last night. I usually park my bike there. I decided to drive last night. So close but then again I ulock my bike.
