Hey kids,

So I rode the rough route to the Skirball today towing my little man (who weighs 46.5 lbs!!) and it was a sweet ride. I will say that last 2 miles uphill I sure did feel his weight but the ride back sails.

Anyhow, I spoke with the good folk at the museum and they told me that this particular concert is really popular and we should be there by 5:30 if we want to get in b/c the tickets are given on a first come -- first serve basis. Would anyone even be able to make it out if the ride meet up moved to 4PM?

I guess this could be the REALLY fabulous ride, so damn fabulous that we don't even have to be at work and can ride our damn bikes at 4 o'clock on a Thursday fabulous...

Anyone in? Any sugestions? Feign a heart attack at work and leave early that day?

Thoughts please? Backup plans?

P.S. even though the line starts early, they give people their tickets and allow us to wander around the museum for free before hand, or we can have an impromptu party in the front foyer. Now that would be Fabulous!

Oh! One more thing, the Skirball has completely non-existent bike parking provisions so it will be especially Fabulous to show up and require special bike accommodations.
