peanut butter that comes in jars (skippy, peter pan, vons brand, etc) are all safe to eat and are not affected by e coli or whatever.

While driving OTR, chunky Hyvee, store-brand was always my favorite.

Of course this was when I had access to the MidWest.

reeses peanut butter is some top shelf stuff, but out of the jar it tastes like ass and is nothing like what they use in their candies.
