Sexy LA Bicycle Advisory Committee Meeting, Tues. Oct. 7!!!

The Los Angeles Bicycle Advisory Committee is having its bimonthly meeting today, Tuesday October 7, at 7:00 at Parker Center downtown. Pretty sexy, huh? I'll say!

This might be a good time to express some support for repealing the mandatory bicycle licensing law in Los Angeles, which at least one of the BAC members is already pushing for. So if you can make it (I don't know whether I will), by all means drop in and say a word or two in support of repealing the law during the Public Comment part of the meeting. That's right at the beginning, so you don't have to stay for the whole thing if you don't want to. You can just say your piece and then get the fuck out of there and go back to Scoops.

OK? Just a suggestion, if you're looking for something to do tonight in the early evening.

Soapbox and Enci sometimes lead a ride-to-the-meeting from Santa Monica and Vermont, and then a ride to Pure Luck after. I don't know whether they're doing that this month, but I'll bet one of them will tell us.
