Bike stuff on KTLA this AM

Watching the early morning news and here is a quick update on what's up:

1. Reporter out on street at Brite Spot/Sunset/Echo Park talking about Bike Lanes.

2. City is trying to get more people to use Bike lanes (ORLY?)
3. There is a bill right now to make any new roads have mandatory bike lanes/paths.
4. Increase the number of Bike Lanes/paths around the city.
5. City is supposed to get this passed and in motion by next June but NOW is trying to push this up to start as early as February.
6. The reporter did smartly point out that some bike lanes are too close to cars and specifically car doors! Yay.
7. Ed Reyes has a plan to provide Rental Bikes in the city.

8. Ed Reyes will be on the 8am hour of KTLA this morning to discuss all things bikes. Tune in!!
