east End Ridazz: The College Ride

That's right, the new East End ride is coming up.
This ride will roll from the same place as the last one, the Claremont Transit Station, and we're gonna roll from that corner of the claremont colleges to Cal Poly Pomona, come ride with us!

Is the route going to do a loop around and through the Claremont campuses before we head over to Cal Poly? The campuses are quite pretty and have a few features that would be fun to ride. In addition to a fun bit of theater, we might pick up a few new ridazz.

oh yeah. I will get the spoke cards. This one is so great! I will make them at work this time. I've done some expirementing with double laminating....so it will be free this time! Yeah, FuzzBeast!!

Nixon Twin...we think the Claremont Campuses are beauiful, too. In fact, FuzzBeast wanted to make the meetup point at Pomona by the Clock when he was planning the first ride, but he felt that it was really hard to give directions to that spot. I agree with FuzzBeast. Since this ride has been established as a monthy ride, I'm sure we get through the campuses sooner or later. That will be fun.

Hey this is mike from cal poly pomona cycling club and i just found out about this ride.. i told the club about it so except a dozen or so people from cal poly.. if anyone rides mtn we are riding web canyon tomorrow which is a downhill ride..

this sounds like a fun event guys. I just graduated from Cal Poly this past June and haven't been back there since. I kinda miss it and this will be a good opportunity to go back and visit. I came out for the Old Time Ride with u guys last month and that was a good turnout. Hope this one will be even better.
ps. I'm trying to plan a San Gabriel Valley (SGV) Ridazz event. i got it mapped out and will post it up soon. i'd appreciate it if u folks tried to make it out to support the "East Side" 626/909 region.

yeah, Nixon Twin, one of the major reasons I havent run a route through the campuses yet is the construction on that building on college dr, they keep closing down walkways and stuff for it, maybe once that calms down a bit i'll run one through, officially, however that doesnt mean we cant just go f around on campus after the rides...

One more week.
This ride may actually sustain the turnout we had last time, maybe even surpass it. I've been getting some fairly steady buzz in my emails about it.
Glad to see people out here interested in riding bikes for something other than commuting and straight up excercise...

yah it was a great ride yesteday guys. i'm disappointed that i fell towards the end but im happy that it wasn't that bad. there was a big knot on my right knee but it's gone down alot today cuz i've been putting alot of icy hot stuff on it. thanks for helpin me out everyone. hope u guys can make it out to the Pill Ride on March 3rd. RiDe ON!!!

cool ride on saturday ridazz. i've never been through downtown pomona before. i'm glad t. bone is alright from his crash; it could of been worse. definitely the highlight for me was messing around on the claremont campus riding, people watching, and enjoying some cold ones. i'm definitely down to cruise out next month!
