apply body glide or chammy butter before long/hard rides
I went from a steel frame to a alunimun frame two years ago and I devloped saddle sore at that time. It has never gone away. How many more thousands of miles do those that say, "ride more" will cure it. I found for myself riding way on the back of the seat on the sit bones helped. If you look, you'll probably find most people sit right where the seat starts to narrow. I found sitting back where the seat is widest, is what helped me with reducing pain and sores. Also riding in perfect racing position makes me whole bike ride smoother, among reducing sores. Get this, the bike is tour design bike, that looks like a racer. I think I ultimately have to change frames, to a steal, or carbon. I'm not favorable to titanium. This post should tell you I feel about Aluminum, PAIN IN THE ASS |
