LA's First Mutha Fuckin BIKE CORRAL

I don't know if you know, but there are 10,000 rides planned for Friday, February 18, 2011 to Cafe de Leche to celebrate LA'S Fah fah fah FIRST BIKE CORRAL.

1 car space = 10 bike spaces! Dollah bills for merchants. Free bike parking for customers (I heard they are bakfiets friendly!)

LACBC will lead a ride starting from the Bicycle Kitchen at 706 N. Heliotrope Drive (cross street is Melrose). Meet up with us at 7:30 AM, and we’ll be departing at 7:45 AM. (Facebook Event)

The Flying Pigeon will host a ride starting at their shop at 3714 North Figueroa St. Meet up with them at 8:00 AM, and they’ll depart at around 8:30 AM. (Blog)

C.I.C.L.E. will host a ride that will pick up riders at 3 points: 1) Memorial Park in Pasadena (Gold Line stop) at 7:15 AM, 2) the Pasadena Mission Station (Gold Line stop) at 7:30 AM, and 3) the flag pole at Figueroa and York Blvd at 8:00 AM. (Facebook Event)

 It happened, I was there. It was awesome. It IS awesome. There is a cargo bike parking spot in Los Angeles now.
