So this saturday Im planning to ride from Santa Monica out to my friends place at USC so that I can drink my sorrows away at his birthday party that night, I was wondering if any of you have any recommendations for which road would be the best to ride along

I was thinking of just taking Venice til it hits W Jefferson, but if any of you have a better/faster route let me know

also I'll ask my buddy if its fine for me to bring assorted other ridazz if people want to join

Taking Venice Blvd would be my choice. It's a great route all the way through.

I'm fond of taking National to Expo.

Depending on where you start from, Venice to National, to Jefferson, and turning right (south) on a connecting street past La Brea (I think it's Harcourt) 1 block to Exposition and then Exposition to USC is a good route that I use all the time. The only place that you need to be especially cautious is where the lesser part of Exposition becomes the greater part at the junction with Rodeo just west of Western as you join from the left side of a 3-lane. Usually traffic there is light unless you hit it at a peak period.
