get your most outrageous vintage racing gear, your aviator goggles your racing helmets... I'm not talking spandex I'm talking classic vintage racing gear rocket propelled bikes and sport scarves... think 1920's think bi-planes think ww1 think aeroplanes think herbie the love bug think of anything that you can attach to your bike to look fast but slow you down to a cruise....
we will be riding a 15 mile "pace lap" around LA behind the pace maker himself Big Bike Dan.... after our pace lap we will be racing to be the last person across the finish line after a 2 block "anti-sprint". The winner receives the world's smallest prize..... A specially designed spoke card..... more details soon.

Damm Joe, That link points right in the middle of the intersection of Sunset and EchoPark Blvd. Do you really want everybody to meet in the middle of the intersection. That sounds kind of dangerous.

Good ride until I heard a guy flat on his BMX at the bridge. I knew no one would have a 20" tube so my buddy and I went back to help. I had a patch kit I was going to give him but he had no clue how to change a tube (and his 3 buddies didn't either). Took us about 20 minutes in the end but we got him riding again. They headed home and we had no clue where the pack went so we just rode back toward the lake when we found a few Ridazz. Turns out we had cut ahead somehow and were at the front of the line. Around that time we saw BBDan coming around the corner, must have been karma for helping the BMXer.
No rider left behind ;)

That was some pretty fun shit last night. BTW did anyone end up winning the World's Smallest Prize/Spokecard? That shit was so confused - hahaha I love it.
I wonder who was last to leave the lake last night - which reminds me; I told a few ridazz last night but some tough dude walk out of an apt. building, mad-dogged the scene and then tried to steal a bike but was stopped and then almost got his ass served by OG Eddie. That was rad. By the end of it dude looked scared and tried to keep his pride as he walked back inside but with Eddie saying something like, "Get the fuck out here before we work you bitch" it wasn't easy.
If Eddie didn't step-up that dude would've just stole some other bike.
No rida left behind

The world's smallest spoke card was won by a guy named Joseph! He managed to stay on his bike the whole time. I didn't think anyone would win! Big thanks to BIG BIKE DAN for leading the world's longest pace lap!

Roadblock was so stoked when he saw this guy still on his bike.. And you thought noone would win the worlds smallest spokecard! that was one of the most fun rides I been on!! and the after party in Echo Park was AMAZING!!!! dance party by the lake! I love dance parties!!! GREAT MUSIC!!! Thanks Big Bike Dan!
one thing though is that a bunch of peeps got left behind at a light.. one pack I know of - noone had a spke card so they didn't know where to go and missed the after party :( maybe there's a way to slow the front down a bit so the back can keep up.. especially when there's hills.. we've got to remember not everyone goes the same speed.. maybe people with nextel radio's in the front and back?
