PARK(ing)

There was some discussion in and around the Bicycle Film Festival about doing
this in Los Angeles some time soon. Somebody mentioned that there was a plan to do it in September, or thereabouts.
I want to get some early discussion going on this, so that it becomes a Really Real Event That Really Happens, preferably in more than one location. Who wants to do this?
What's it going to take? Which would be the best locations? Anybody have any unique twists to add?

Good, good, good. As for twists, I was thinking along the lines of serving little cups of lemonade (free, of course) to visitors, and of having miniaturized versions of typical park pastimes. Like little tiny games of frisbee or croquet, or perhaps "Shakespeare In The PARK(ing)"--just one actor in period costume reciting some of the better known soliloquies to an appreciative audience consisting of some of us plus the visitors. The twists probably shouldn't be
too theatrical, because you want to get it across to people that this is for them to participate in and partake of, rather than some performance piece that they are supposed to watch (or ignore). That's why the Shakespeare actor should address his soliliquies to the people in the park and not to passers-by.
I'm just spewing crap from in my head, here. You folks think of some stuff if you want.

IlluminateLA is doing a Shakespeare in the Park(ing) outside Garcetti's office on Hollywood Blvd. as part of Park(ing) Day LA. (Close to the Hollywood & Western Red Line Station)
Anyone wanting to help out with bike trailers, supplies, park design, build etc. can go to
ParkingDayLA.com and jump in!
There will be a map produced so that people can post their own parks and then our Park(ing) guests can enjoy the citywide array of Parks. There will be a party that night in a Park(ing) Structure somewhere downtown.
Anyone interested in helping with a Park, with the ride, with the afterparty can jump in by contacting
