My LA brethren and sistren -
some of you fortunate ridazz may have been in LV for the Ghost Ride of the strip, and may/may not have partied all night and till noon the next day in my pool and may/not have slept with 15 other people on my living room floor and may/not have puked your guts out all the next day and may/not have been butt naked in my pool with a disproportionate ratio of tacos/hot dogs...
Be that as it may...
I am coming to LA this weekend to ride with y'all and I need a fixie (preferably) for friday night. I ride a 49 cm frame and anything 47-53 would be great. I don't need a brake if you don't have one.
I'd also take any sort of bike, geared/bmx/rocket sled...
anyways, help a brotha out or no more vegas pool parties : )

I've got a bike you can ride...a rebuilt, refurbished 60's western flyer. I took the sturmey archer off, so now its a single speed.
When/where?

its black powder coat, thin tubes and mustache bars. It has a brooks saddle with springs. If you want to fix it...put a lock ring on it, and I'll keep the brakes.
I was thinking of selling it, but loaning it out to you would be much more fun.

Ben you could borrow any of my bikes, but the might be sized to big for you 54cm - 57cm. I have a crazy folding bike with 12" wheels you are welcomed to, that would fit you. It's fun to ride, but embarassing to some. (the one I have is silver, not black)
Whatever happens, I hope you are coming to Sin's and Sprokets on friday and more importantly that you wear those shorts of yours, YES.

yes the Go-go bike is totally adjustable for someone 4' to 6'4". The heavist that have every seen any one ride is 245 lbs.
Cut it out with your threats, or we will all show up to where you are staying and piss off those people, too.
You got two bikes to choose from now.
Somebody step up with a fixie for our Ben

I wish I was able to help you out sufficiently.
All I have available are two, 17-19"in, MTB's in drydock at my Victorville yard.
They're somewhat rideable, but I need to change out various things on them to give them that edge.
One's a Specialized Rockhopper that was left near the ocean for a few years.
The other's a Trek 800 Sport that I used as a sort of "Combat Bike".
If you feel these are up your alley regardless of gearing(no s/s or fixie, sorry) then hit me up.

I talked to Ben Yesterday, he said he has posted it here, but I don't see it. He said there is a 60% chance he might drive, (some other Vegas folks are interested in coming to) so he will just bring his own bike if he drives instead of flying.
