See the Ride Calendar for details.
Seriously, though; it's a bad idea.

Not quite 70. The computer box says just shy of 67, but various weavings and detours should bump it up a bit. And then there's getting to the ride and getting home.

This is completely insane. I kinda have to do it just for that aspect of it! How many folks do you think will show up?

The turnout varies; we've had between 9 and 25 on previous rides. Thus far I have a couple certain, 4 or 5 probable, another 5 or so "hey, that sounds like fun. I'll try to come out." And who knows how many who haven't checked in. Feeling ambitious, I've made 30 spoke cards.
The nice thing about modest turnout is it makes it much easier to keep the ride together, or at least regroup with confidence that everyone's there.

Great Route, Good Donuts (No Doughnuts!), and I swear Donut Man is lacing those fresh strawberries with crack! But ultimately, this was a very, very, BAD IDEA!!!

Chris and Alex thanks for putting together an awesome ride, great job on planning the route! The Donut Man totally rocks! Well worth the 70 mile to get there! I'll be taking my homies there after a ride.
I got some vomit type matter on wheels. Not sure if it's from a rida or a hobo. I guess I'll have to go to Wetside to get it washed off...........

Truly a bad idea. I rode 20 miles just to meet you guys at the start point. I could barely make it up the steps to my place last night.
I'll make it to the end of the next.
What a bad idea this whole ride was.

Chris here...
In response to the enthusiasm, it is Alex & I who thank you for coming along & giving the ride its character. The ride wouldn't have been nearly as much fun had the crowd not shown up.
If you want to try this sort of nonsense again, the next one should be August 24 & 25. Keep an eye out here and/or on bikeboom for details as they develop.
