If true, this story is bullshit. The police involved need to, at the least, loose their jobs.
At the most, castrated. Their over-production of testosterone is out of hand.

IMHO the biggest mistake this guy did was thinking he could just pedal off on his own terms. Big mistake. He's being detained, either rightly or not, he is being detained. He should have asked if he was being detained and if so, then what are the charges.
I myself would have just asked the cops to write me up if I made an infraction. I wouldn't have argued with them, cause as you see, that gets you no where. If you know you did not make a traffic infraction, you put him on the spot to make one up. Or let you go. If he does right me up, I'll just see him in court.
OK so lets say this guy did what I would have done and is told to walk against traffic or what ever. This would have been part of what would have been brought up in court. Further showing the officer was in error.
But you don't have the bucks to pay for a big time lawyer you say. Get some experience going through the court system on your own and get some experience is what I did. Sure does something for your psyche when you come out on top. :-)
