I also wrote a whole parody of "This Land Is Your Land" at around that time, but the only lines I can half-remember went something like:
(Something something something, something something rhyming with "rust")
Instead of gasoline, I used the angel dust
I got arrested for using that substance

I'm sure the part I've forgotten was the HILARIOUS part. Yup, no doubt about that.

Actually, I wrote a lot of song parodies when I was around that age, often in collaboration with my sister, after listening to Dr. Demento on Sunday nights. I would then debut them at school the next morning, to mixed reviews. (Un)fortunately, the only one I can remember any of right now is a parody of "Saturday Night" by the Bay City Rollers...

And PC... well... at least yours made sense. The only one I can remember that wasn't gibberish, is me and my sister marching around going "Chocolate cake! Chocolate cake! Eat so much get a tummy ache!"
And the rest were songs of gibberish (well, mostly)... like:

But this is something worth showing off. my first and only comic... about fuzzy bear... who steals a car and goes to jail. It's got everything: humor, drama, irony... (not that i knew what that was).
...and if you can understand what he's saying, it's because the letters come out of their mouths depending on which way the character is facing, therefor a character facing to the left speaks backwards.

Back in the olden days I was a computer nerd. In the days of DOS and in the language of BASIC, I managed to write a program to use for writing and printing out punative "sentences" or "standards" awarded for bad behaviour by evil teachers to myself. Sure, anyone could just make a sentence repeat and print it, but my program numbered each sentence and inserted random "mistakes" every few sentences. I got away with it more than a few times cause the teachers were not yet understanding. I think i still have the big ass floppy (I think its 5 1/4?) one of these days I'll fire up the old 8088 I'm dieing to see the code again.

Yeah, I think I got away with it 2 or 3 times before they made it mandatory to write the sentences by hand and then they fucked us by only allowing us to do them during recess time.... the strategy at that point was to write the sentences micro tiny...4 per college rule... haha man, in the mind of 10 year olds somehow that made the 5000 sentences go by quicker.... I missed out on a lot of kickball because of that. Began to smuggle work done from at night too.... fucken harsh to keep a kid from kickball...

our teachers gave us the same old lines every time. What we started doing was when we got assigned sentences, we'd make a bunch of extra pages...then next time we'd already have 'em done. I remember one time the teach, "wow you got these done fast"

I climbed to griffith observatory today. fixed. 48/16.
I realize that many people have probably done this climb weekly, if not daily, but i've never done it before and i just switched to that gear ratio, and to me it was a small victory.
