I need to get my body and my bicycle from Los Angeles to Oakland, and I'm thinking train. Thoughts? Experiences? What's a good way to go?

 The bus/train worked out just fine. On the bus, we put our bikes in the luggage compartment of the bus (the driver opened up a different compartment for the bikes), and on the train there were racks.
