Red Rock Canyon?

Hey I'm going to be in Vegas this weekend and am interested in riding my roadbike at Red Rock Canyon. I've done a bunch of google searches looking for the best route but havent had much luck... anyone know a site or know the dealio with red rock canyon??

hey crazy i just road to Red Rock Canyon in Vegas a few weeks ago. cool stuff but i didnt use a map so i am of no help but to say it was very cool and it took me a while to figure out how to get there because there are some crazy optical illusions out there.

you going Saturday. If I get someone to take over my responsibility I will be there, but not riding bikes, I will be butt rocking to BuckCherry.
remnants of the LA glam scene . It will be some Red Hot Rockin action.

I'm hoping to get a good 20-30 mile scenic road ride out there on sunday morning.
Buck cherry? Geeez I think I remembr crossing out their graffiti on my block. Maybe it was black cherry or some shit. Have a good time glam rockin it though I want to see yoiu in spandex or not.

well if you started on Charelston heading west in sumerlin, you could just go up charelston around the redrocks senic loop, and then back down, from the last time that i was there it looked like there were some decent places to park your car near the 215 off ramp to charelston.

also, i'd recommend starting early, the scenic loop can get a decent amount of car traffic, but it's well paved, one way, and super fucking beautiful.

Hey Road Block,
Red Rock is a great ride. I used to do that route every weekend when I lived out there. What area are you staying in?
Like e-rock said, just take Charelston up and you will run into it. I suggest after the scenic loop, make a right at the exit and take the circle back to Blue Diamond hwy, then down to the strip.. It will add about 20 more miles to the ride, but well worth it.
