That's right. Look out, ladies. I've been getting busy with the soldering iron again. Try to contain yourselves when this monster gets unzipped on Friday night:
And please, no need to fight over me this time: I'm tall, there's plenty to go round.
This is the kit that comes from that girl at MIT right? Has the prices come down at all? The last I saw was that it was about $40 for one of the sticks you have pictured. Also as you can see, you need at least two of these, three to do a sweet job. OR......... you can go 50 mph, take your pick.
Don't mean to rain on your parade..... just stating the obvious.
Also what sucks on this kit is that it's arranged so you can only view it from one side, right?
User1, unfortunately, the price has not come down - a single stick will still set you back $37. I just have the one right now, to experiment with.
However they are double-sided, and the system is smart enough to have options to know whether images on opposite sides should be mirrored or not, so it looks good from both sides.
I'll probably make another one in the future, that lowers the speed at which it looks good. I can't tell how it looks when I'm riding it. They are alleged to look good at 15mph, but I can't tell how it looks from above even if I'm riding at 25. This one I have is a test.
