How many are forced soloists?

Since I think that I bitch about it too often, I was curious about how many others are in my position.
You know, either too far from a major urban center, on the road alot, live in an area where loud exhausts are preferred over, say, carbon-fiber wheelsets.
I just thought it would be less miserable if we all just sort of treated it like a group therapy session, or something.
A good question to stoke this fire would be....
"How many cyclists did you see today, aside from your reflection in picture window?'
Me, today, zilch.

I should've added a "what am I getting at" into this.
I was actually thinking about starting up a site parallel to this one in every regard.
Except it would focus on a coordinated Midnight Ridazz event through the experiences of all of us that have it to go it alone.
Sharing experiences, and other sappy-ass shit like that.

Is there a reason why you have to live out in the boondocks? Just wondering.

It's mainly relocation costs.
Figure about $1000-$2000 to get my ass fimrly implanted in an accessible area like Fontana, or Ontario, or any other IE city.
Then it's easy street from there.
Those might seem faraway to you guys, but at least they have direct surface street routes and MetroLink running from there to the LA Basin area.

I rode 4th/8th/Gregory from Silver Lake to Santa Monica to work today and saw maybe six ridazz the entire way.
Cycling is fun solo, though.

solo in a city setting anyway.
Tumbleweeds and prickly pears are for the birds.
And believe me speedybrian, as soon as I have an ass of a chance, I'll definitely make IECM a priority on the watchlist!!
