Topfreedom Ride This Summer!

I found a cause that I can get behind and support! It's calledThe Topfreedom Movement!

Topfreedom is a social movement to accord women and girls the right to be topfree in public where men and boys have that right. Examples of public spaces at which topfreedom might be exercised include beaches, swimming pools and parks. The reasons include keeping nursing mothers from having to hide for breastfeeding, sun tanning, comfort, and sex equality.

I'm all for sexual equality and stuff, so I'm going to put together a ride this summer! I was trying to find a Topfreedom day and didn't come across one. So I'm going to start emailing the organizers and either see if they have a day they celebrate it, or decide on a day to promote it. Once there's a day determined, we'll do a ride to support this just cause.

Do we have any other supporters of the Topfreedom movement here?

I don't know if it was an initiative by the Topfreedom people, but I heard it's legal for the ladies to ride the NYC subways topless, for all the same reasons mentioned here. However, in my 5.5 years living in New York, I never saw anyone exercise that particular right.

This reminded me of this girl from Germany I was with in Sacramento. She went to American River, to spend the day once. She laid out in the sun topless to get some rays. When she came home, she was wondering why she had alot of guys coming up to her chatting her up. LOL I had to explain our customs here.

In Germany men and women can lay out in the public park nude legally.
