So Raymond and I made it to whale's vagina. We got a room conviniently placed next to SDs finest gentlemen club.We later rode to a rider's gathering for dinner. We walk up to the front and wonder why Marcus and Mixemotions are sitting outside by them selves. We walk in and see about 20 ridazz crammed to a corner of the mexican restaurant.OHHH what a sight..SD is slowly falling to our feet.Couldn't geta seat.Eating next door wine and tapas...
Waiting for mayhem.

@HANDBONE
-Don't feel disenheartened by this, I mean it sucks that you had to drive that far, just to face that.
But, there's always going to be more rides that you could hija....er experience some form of redemption from that of previous suck-age.
Hell, myself and a couple of others ended up chasing down the January C-Mob for being late.
As for the situation as a whole, I'm beginning to think that "community-walkie-talkies", much like the stereo-trailer, should be implemented.
Trick would be, keep the community radio on a specific frequency, and encourage the use of your own, FRS to keep in touch.
I dunno, a little more quicker than dialing up a cell# ?

yeah, until cops catch on. Hello Roadblocks! Keep it to cell phones or direct connect phones. Walkie Talkies could just end up fucking everyone more than helping them.

I was always under the idea that law enforcement made use of trunked systems.
These can't pick up FRS bands, and vice-versa as far as I know.
But then again, you can't be too careful.
I was just trying to suggest a fumble-free way to keep in contact.
meh.

Hey Handbone,
Sorry you couldn't find us.
What time did you show up and where?
Did you take anyones numbers?
There were about 45 or so Ridazz from LA that actually made it.
The meet time was 9:00 and we didn't leave till about 10:00.
Thanks for making the effort to come and I'm sorry all you got was hail.
If I can find you next time I'm up for an MR ride, I'll at least buy you a beer.

LAPD doesn't hassle us so why would that be a problem? In SM perhaps, but there the cops don't give us enough credit yet.

Obviously I'm not a good MR correspondent since my live updates stopped after my first glass of wine and a few Henessys.
Rain cane down but we prevailed.Got a kick ass route with a long ass down hill.We arrived at end point where we had a LA vs SD dodge ball war.Don't ask me who won.We moved to the pinata murder in which exploded revealing condoms and shots of liquor.
Went to a full blown wharehouse party where 5 bucks got you a full glass of vodka and a few drops of juice.L.A. Is all fucked up by now.Hit Dennys and hail starts pounding.
Got back to room , woke up and are havinf the strongedt bloddy marys in SD.

To the SD crew, thanks for putting together a great night. Nice meeting Tommy and the guys at the bike shop. The weather made for an interesting night but didn't interfere with the games. That warehouse party tripped... good dj. I'll post my pics soon.

LOST: One (1) pair of wool Swobo gloves, size S/M. Distinguishable by the bright yellow grippy nubbies on the palm. Last seen at the start point of the Post Apocalyptic Ride.

Harry,
You da man!
Thanks for picking up the tab for a classy hotel. If there were 45 ridazz down there from LA, that means you took care of more than a third of us by having an overnight place for everyone down there.
What a location and what a view to see in the morning.
Thanks!!!!

That's very, very cool of Harry.
But my question is:
Weren't you all riding the entire time you were down there? It couldn't have been more than 30 hours, i'm guessing. Was there actually time to sleep?
stevo403.17.08 - 7:46 am

There was plenty of time to sleep, like from 4am to 10am.
