thats my old bike. it took me over 2800 miles the first year i owned it. now it collects dust in my garage because its such a huge frame i cant sell it to anyone.

How tall are you and what is your inseam? Too many factors but a good test is standover. While straddling the bike there should be a little room between your nads and the top tube.
Also try going to a bike shop that carries Trek, sizing varies a little among manufacturers. Incycle in Pasadena carries Trek. And finally how much?
