This was very not boring last year. If at all possible, I recommend that you all go down there for at least one day or night and be totally unbored!

I have tickets for then too. Someone needs to get organized and plan a ride from LA to the races for Sunday. There seems to be a lot of people who want to go, but nobody has put anything together.
That said, I do not want to be the person who has to get organized and plan the ride. I prefer to be told what to do.

Yeah, you got a little excited and blew an open shot. Next time. But I dunno, I thought mine was OK. You know, how you're always talking, so you have no place to tell anyone to be quiet... that's Ok, right?
That's what I'm talking about Red!! Holla!!

lets calculate the miles and plan it for sunday sunday.....I try to figure it out in the evening..
skano01.17.08 - 2:21 pm

From LA, it's 17 miles to the ADT track. Flat terrain. Looks like you can take Vermont all the way down, but there is a better route to be had. (Vermont is big and fast and cars might be sketchy.)
May also be a good idea to plan it to try to avoid the ghet.

Ok peoples ..City Cockgobblin was right, The Home Depot center is approx 17.5 miles from LA. Now the question is lying on weather or not we want to ride there and what session we want to attend? I personally don't mind riding to The Home Depot Center, but do not intend on riding back from carson at 11pm...Also, there is a group discount rate of $15 per person (reg.$20) with a group of ten or more..The scheduled times for saturday and sunday are
saturday 7pm..

Oh, and since the fact that I'm riding up from the south doesn't help you much:
here's a thread about a small group ride thingie that you may want to try to get in on, although I don't know how much of it will involve riding bikes as distinct from riding trains.
