That ride looks like a hoax. Hopefully a REAL Midnight Rida (not some crazy non-existent internet person) will step up and do the real thing.

Isn't this February's 2nd Friday Ride the 10th anniversary ride? I also know for a fact that this Midnight Rida is a real person and they do plan on throwing a 2nd Friday ride out at Salton Sea (I really hope it fucking happens!) but I also expressed that for those who may not be accompanying the circus out to the desert someone should step up and do it right.

lol. This is actually kinda funny. Although I wouldn't advise posting all that either, it's not like any name or activity listed can't be found all over this site, or in plenty of flaming videos online...
All u SS Fooz should def do an MR ride out there. I've done a 40-50 mike heart-shaped ride on vday two years in a row (skipped last year? I can't remember...). I was really thinking about doing one this year. Ane did a heart shaped party ride last year I think... Not sure how that went, I didn't make it. I haven't been hosting rides past year and a half, cuz I haven't had time or felt up to it. My own issues. Anyway...
I was thinking of doing a heart shaped distance ride again. I can do that in the day, and route a heart-shaped party ride for the evening. I don't care too much to lead the party ride, I tend to keep lost Ridaz together in the back, on big party rides.
That all being said, the turnout for jan MR ride was great, the music was awesome. Good job krista!
If the commodore is in town and wants to supply music (or another big sound bike?!?) I'll gladly design a cool heart-shaped route for y'all.. And help in other ways. I could lead it... If needed. But I'd rather someone else lead a big party ride. I can help in other ways. I'll prob def do the 40-50 mile this year again... The first year was a lot of big hills, north of Glendale, haha... Prob won't make it that difficult this time.

don't post//advertise anything you didn't build//create or help to build it yourself. that should probably just be a rule of life.
also, this is the 10th year anniversary of LOS ANGELES Midnight Ridazz...granted I'm someone who won't be in town but the fact that this ride wants to be held somewhere outside of LA is ridiculous.
so...what did we learn? don't advertise shit you have nothing to do with. + keep LA midnight ridazz LA

just yesterday I told Hammy that I love Midnight Ridazz too much to ever take the 10th year anniversary out of LA (he asked me if I had posted that...ha!) but the more I think about it, the more I'm pretty sure all the people who still give a fuck about Midnight Ridazz is going to be on our annual camping trip in an undisclosed location...
that being said, there should be a ride in LA led by someone who still cares. that person could even make the camping trip still (me and July led the 8th anniversary ride and went out to the desert right after with a small group of people and got there just in time to make everyone breakfast), it's just a matter of someone having the drive to do it.
where are all the peeps staying home this year at?!

First off, im really psyched to see that this is being handled HERE on this website. Ppl popping up and organizing for the MR community.
Secondly, i dont think it matters how many coral eat are camping, but there HAS to be some kind of ride commemorating the occasion IN LA. Redline, i think u got yourself a mission, and a heart shaped route on Valentine's, (obv not 40-50mi tho) miles sounds perfect.

I will def be doing the 40-50 mike distance heart shape route during the day. Come if u like to ride miles, a good med pace, 15-18 Mohawk avg, 20 something on downhill and flat out flats. I'll try and keep the major mountains to a minimum, this time.
However, I will also route out at least a couple 15-25 mile heart shape routes, and post them up here soon enough for other "LA peeps staying in LA" to vote on, and I'm sure there will be an after party for this one, being valentines day... Ane Uno, u listening?!?
I'll post up some routes soon, stay tuned.
I may or may not end up biking some crazy miles to the middle of somewjere that weekend tho? Who knows yet... Regardless, I will give MR at least a few good heart-shaped route options, if tho shall choose to endeavor in the shape of the spirit

May I make the suggestion to have the ten year anniversary ride in march or April or May. This is the tenth year, so technically we can have it anytime throughout the year. Half of the community won't be here in Feb. Having the ride when we have better weather will bring people out who have been part of this event at different times in the last 10 years.
Lets make it a celebration worth having!

ok. i made a couple heart-shape routes. both are a little funky-shaped, kinda hard to get a real heart-shape, without too many zig-zag cuts, which would just kill the ride, tryig to turn every other block or two. soooooo.... pick one, and post your favorite. #1 or #2?
#1 - http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/356654277 - more of east LA, that doesn't usually get ridden on an MR ride? quite a bit more of a quirky heart-shape... eh. whatever. no real steep climb, pretty easy route.
#2 - http://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/356665051 - centered in hwood, weho, mid city and dtla areas. heart of LA, yea? this route is a bit longer, and covers a lot more ground. about 28 miles. a little climbing over near dodger stadium... can y'all hannel et?
