It's chinese food. Basically it consists of snack size portions. You get a bunch of little things, and they usually come around on carts and you can just order off the cart. You should join us eddie.

So, how was it? Did Eddie have a good first experience? On Trekkie's Dim Sum ride, it was Sonny's first time and he really liked it.
Anyone try the chicken feet?

Hiya, I'm new to the whole scene. Been lurking around the forums for some time but a bit intimidated to attend any of these events. Dim sum sounds fun, I might just have the courage to join next time. I'm from the Alhambra area and it's like the new Chinatown here. Do you guys all know each other in this forum?

nohnst,
A little advice! Come to whatever event you want to. If you don't like it for whatever reason, your not obligated to stay. Say Hi, and introduce yourself to some people, then you will see.

If you guys are ever curious about other sorts of asian food, there's a ton of little restaurants in the Alhambra area, especially on Valley Blvd. Perhaps some time, possibly on the next meet, there are a few places we can go for the well known Vietnamese noodle soup, "Pho", springs rolls, or for some french roll sandwiches. I'm not an expert but know I enough about few places that you may enjoy.

i've never actually eaten anything in Alhambra before and would love to try some new places in case i find myself there again.
My favorite vietnamese restaurant is Pho 87 in W. Covina. And for French Roll sandwiches, i love Philippes French Dip in China Town.
