Dumb Fucks on the Bike Path

Well I'm doing my usual ride on the LA river bike path. Well these stupid Fucks are walking three a breast on the path. I call out, they don't hear , I try to pass and BOOM! center punched the fat fuck.
Well now I'm bleeding my bike is fucked and the chick says" Are you Ok?" "At least you werent on a fixie". People are so stupid and unaware of cyclists. I wish I coud fucking shoot them.

Reminds me of those cases where the train was blowing its whistle and the poor sap walking down the tracks still gets hit!!!

You saw pedestrians, had time to call out to them, and still couldn't manage to stop your bike and avoid a collision?
Sounds like this is your fault.
Imagine if somebody posted the following:
"Well I'm doing my usual drive on L.A. surface streets. Well this stupid cyclist is hogging the lane. I honk my horn and he doesn't hear, I try to pass and BOOM! sideswiped the douchebag. Well now my car is scratched. I wish I could fucking shoot cyclists. People are so unaware of drivers."
Yeah, that guy wouldn't get much sympathy either, and for the same reasons.
That's why both motorists and cyclists should know how to get around safely and avoid collisions.

Oh, I guess you're right then. OP clearly had the right to collide with pedestrians. That was a much more effective solution than slowing down and riding around them safely.

Now I never said that. It's Mister Obvious that he should have just stopped (which I think he tried as he was hurt and he didn't mention hurting the fat guy - over the handlebars?). Your analogy is flawed as in your case one person is at fault but in the case of the peds and cyclist they're both at fault.

lesson #1:
fat people don't move. that's why they're fat.
lesson #2:
if fat people are walking or exercising, have some sympathy for them, they're trying to get in shape so they learn to move out of the way faster.
lesson #3:
whether someone is obeying the "bike path rules" or not, if you are approaching someone from behind, and verbally warn them about passing, and there is no response, they probably didn't hear you- especially if you are biking on a bike path that is parallel to the freeway. respond accordingly before you hit them.

I ride the path from atlantic to Firestone to work everyday and I hate the stretch between Gage and Clara (just after Slauson). Everyone thinks its a excersise path, especially the old women, I have seen them block the entire path OBLIVIOUS to anything behind them. Fuck sometimes I want to stop and give the fuckers an english lesson..... see that written below your feet "BIKE" means BIKE-O.
