Free Tibet Rides

I want to start organizing regular rides between Chinatown and the Chinese consulate that protest China's occupation of Tibet. How about one this Tuesday Evening? We can plan meeting and leaving from right in front the Chinese consulate (443 Shatto Place, Los Angeles, CA 90020) which is one block east of Vermont between 3rd and 4th streets. Midnight Monday will mark the very important (and literal?) deadline that China is demanding protesters surrender by. End at mountain bar (manager's cool with the cause). 4.4 miles. Shatto -> 4th -> Temple -> Left straight into Chinatown.
If we leave at 6PM, then people who get there early (me) can be protesting in front of the consulate as the employees leave work for the day.

I'm up for a doing this! Not sure how soon I can be there. I'll shoot for 6pm. Political rides seem to go over like a lead balloon around here. Not sure why that's the case, but it does. Would be nice to see a change. I'm all for being part of a force to change for the better. Count me on participating in anyway possible!
