Nothing Special Fest

A few friends and I are organizing the Nothing Special Fest!!
There will be art, free comic/poem/art booklets, bands all day, a potluck, beer, a ride to the fest, cool people, NOM NOM NOM! Inititally this is for artists around the L.A. area to be seen, for local bands to be heard and to just have a good fucking damn time!
This is due to be happening some time during May. This is just the beginning of our planning, like I said if anyone wants to help, please do.
We'd love to have volunteers! People to submit art! People to play music! If you're in a band and have a website we'd love to check it out! If you make little crafty things we'd love for you to come set up a table and feel free to sell your craft!
We want you to be involved!! Feel free to help us out, throw out some ideas. Make spoke cards to give out, make bicycle booklets (whatever your heart desires, I just think that'd be cool), make shirts, patches, whatever!

Like I said we're just pre-planning it right now. I gotta get in touch with a bunch of artists, bands, and such like that. =)

I someone trustworthy and willing enough to lead the ride to the actual fest, i'll be way to busy to be leading the ride...
p.s.
the leader of the ride will have to help me promote also, we can meet up and i can hand you a butt load of flyers.
