Bike Build Day @ The Bikerowave

Calling all future Los Angelopes! We want to help you build the freak bike of your dreams! Here is the date for the rescheduled bike-build day!
Sunday, February 24th @ NOON!
What to bring:
- an idea of what you want to do
- for a tall-bike, [i][b]at least[/b][/i] two bike frames and two forks. (We recommend that one of the bikes you bring is a complete working bike, as well as an extra chain.)
- the more parts/scraps/tubing you bring, the easier it will be
- work clothes (welder has a tendency to put small holes in clothing)
- tools, if you have them (esp. welders, angle grinders)
- creativity
- patience
Due to the overwhelming response, there is a potential for a large number of people to attend and we have a very limited amount of tools. If this is the case, we might opt for group tutorials. Also, expect not to finish your freak bike project. It will most likely take multiple days to complete. Brassknuckle has offered up his house as a place to finish your freak bikes. Talk to him to schedule a time after the bike build to complete your project.

Re: clothing
We recommend you wear cotton or leather clothing, close toed shoes and bring a pair of thick work gloves for welding. Synthetic fibers
will melt and burn.

if you drop them at the box tonight, i'll coordinate with richie and get them from him tomorrow morn. i need the calipers to get to industrial metal supply before they close tomorrow
