Can someone tell what the fuq this is? I tried contacting the person who posted this and I see the ride listed in some of Palm Springs' local media but there is only a start time and no start point... is this real? Should we go investigate??! PALM SPRINGS? do people still party there???

I think a couple of kids from PS showed up at the Salton Sea. Don't know if PS Rida is one of them or not.

In Palm Springs you don't need to know WHERE just WHEN.
It's a small town... what?... 300 people max.
You look out your window at 7pm, you see the 3 bikes... you say....
IT'S A FRIGGIN BIKE PARADE!!!!
You saddle up and join.
Don't be a Nazi RB with your who-where-what formalities.
KTHX

I was wondering aobut this too. Though when I looked at the interavtive map it showed a route near Western or something. Palm Springs is just down the road for me but I know nothing about anything for this ride....Shame....

I would go and check them out but I'm coming down for LACM and sometihng else on Saturday though I'm not sure what the other ride will be. Otherwise I'ld be all over it. Bentsrider is about as close to PS as he is to LA.

dolamyte hit that one right on the head.
I seem to be geographically-dislocated from anything at this point.
200miles from Vegas.
100miles from Downtown LA.
80miles from the Palm Desert, going either 15S/10E, or 18W/247/or whatever the fuck that Spaghetti-Western-ass highway is.

I'm down for a Palm Springs adventure.
Has anyone figured out the real details yet? Maybe it's an invitation for us to just do it ourselves.
There's some cool routes from what I noticed last time I was out there.
Be careful what you reveal though, I don't want you to be called out by Marino as a - "NAZI!"

I have been to this ride a few times. its once a month run by a lady that used to race track bikes apparently. its a short right around down town palm springs, mainly older folk(its palm springs!). And palm springs is like 10-25 thousand people if not more.
And yeah, i am one of the two that went to the salton sea with you guys from PS.
peace

Palm springs is definitely a good place for biker weekend. We have one once a year, actually twice "tour de palm springs" and then motorcycle weekend.

Actually 45,000
I was just kidding earlier when I wrote "300". :-)
We'll be visiting.
Only problem is your Friday 7pm start time.
It would be better if it was Saturday 7pm or Friday 10pm so we wouldn't have to drive during rush hour to get there.

@marino
You got that right.
Due to the Eastward-push for cheaper housing, most of the residents of the IE, lower-Desert, and High Desert all seem to rush back home at the exact same time.
At least during those hours, all you're going to be dealing with are the over-timers, truck-drivers, and people getting a late-start out to Vegas, or the River.

Yeah, but like that article said, some riders are 75 years old....
