Cool let's do it! I attempted a half fast search on the video Johnny Yesno and couldn't find it. I have the video compilation Drinking Gasoline. I also have almost their full catalog of vinyl records, but those aren't seeing the light of day if a digital download is available.
I am thinking that showing the Johnny Yesno video and most of the other video I have would be awesomest. Then play their music on the ride.
First of all for those just joining this thread, it was started from the end of the Joy Division thread. It didn't just pop up out of the black. :-)
I'm having a hell of a time tracking down much info, much less a cold hard copy of Johnny Yesno video. I did run across a tinny tiny bit from Rough Trade Records,

and here,

The Drinking Gasoline Video maybe a bit easier to find, but not much!
PC I'm not sure what Gasoline in your eye is, was that just one song?
I'm currently chatting with some CV fans to see if something can be tracked down.

Wow, I wasn't expecting people to be talking about Rough Trade on the MR forums!
You guys have been to Part Time Punks and Punky Reggae, right? They play lots of post-punk and indie pop and make it work for the dance floor. Those are pretty much my favorite clubs in L.A.
I love that JD song too. I can't wait to see that second JD documentary that's out. I don't really have that much JD in my collection. It was a band that peeps collected EVERYTHING from. There were numerous bootlegs out on them. That was what the hardcore fans were collecting.
I have some Bauhaus. I got one album by them that is marked as a promo. They labeled the promos similar to what you see in the pic.
The Cabs were always one of the top favs for me. Collected alot of their stuff!
I love Joy Division, but back when I DJed more we kind of had a "no Love Will Tear Us Apart" rule, which is in the spirit of the "no Stairway to Heaven" rule from "Wayne's World."
