Holy shit, she's a moron! She's just got absolutely no political instincts whatsoever. And plenty of the GOP 'base' genuinely talk about her as the future of the party. That can only be a good thing, since it may just cause actual political and economic conservatives to split from the GOP and become a viable 3rd party that can run in the center. That could only be a good thing for this country, I think.
A majority of the world wouldn't and doesn't give a fuggg. That doesn't mean that they're all morons. It speaks about other values, personal and social choices, but it definitelly tells me that compassion is not her forte.
I'm not saying she's a moron because she eats turkey or condones the slaughter of turkey. I fully understand that the world will eat meat and don't have a problem so much with that (as long as the meat is treated TRULY ehtically from birth to death.) She's a moron because she is so dumb brained as to even allow an interview to happen in front of the slaughter. In other words she has no self awareness and is simply to moronic to understand how others percieve her. Which feeds right into he idiotic views of the world and her inability to understand other peoples feelings. Not to mention the 10th grade vocabulary and gibberish she was spouting out like rabbit droppings. She is quite dense in all aspects of her being. And she looks like she's fatting out too.

I don't get whats wrong with killing turkeys to eat. How else do you think they get to your supermarket & subsequently your dinner table (yes i know, there are evil turkey farms out there too, yada yada)? Vegans, veggiheads, and peta sympathizers - no need to answer. But srsly, pardoning a turkey has become a bit of a fun tradition in many rural parts of this country; no need to bash that.

I'm with nathan, the media is now fucking with her on some seriously humorous levels. Its like watching a cartoon or a vonage commercial but instead of a guy in a clown suit walking by in the background its quite a disturbing and gruesome scene. Its not that we all don't understand that turkeys and other sources of meat get slaughtered, its that she's too ignorant to understand some of the basic rules of politics. Keep a clean image and talk as little as possible. She's just blabbing on and on incoherrantly. What a fucking toenail.
I don't think you folks really have a pulse on what most of this country is like. We hang around a slightly enlightened (on certain issues) people. The rest of the country is not that enlightened. The coverage is to continue portraying her everyday person image. All over the country I would say the majority of people (at least the base she is going after) is ok with the slaughter of animals. The majority eat it without impunity to their consciousness (even in this pro Obama crowd). If she learns issues and changes her dialect slightly, she could be a possible popular political figure in years to come. If not in the US then in Alaska at the least. Mark Begich is only going to be a freshman two year senator. He has to run again in 2010. This stunt is probably done to cement her common folk image with Alaskan voters. She is said to have DC political ambitions. She could easily raise more money now that she has country wide recognition, and men of the republican party are all smittens over here. We all know certain men will do things for women just based on there looks and if they are agreeable with her political outlook, the support could be overwhelming.
I guess I'm somewhat desensitized to seeing farm-animals getting slaughtered due to my mom killing a live, pig right in front of me when I was seven.
That and the fact that I see no souls in the eyes of turkeys, pigs, cows, chickens, like you would a dog, or cat, or some other animal that you wouldn't normally associate with food.

She is governor of Alaska and was vice-president running mate for one of the countries two major parties, she can't be all that stupid. It kinda of like saying GWBush is stupid. Not really, he stoled two elections, looted the Treasuy and continues doing so, changed law to benefit his friends and supporters, and so far has gotten away with it all. Not the best thing for the country, but claiming he is stupid, HARDLY!
of course i'm kidding! hah hah. could you actually imagine someone being serious around here?! hah hah.. let us all just continue belittling each other and the rest of the world. i'll just come back in a few months again and observe how far we've come.
