For sports lovers, summertime is play time. The season signals months of sun-filled bike rides in the park, rounds of golf with friends or even taking on colleagues in the corporate softball league.
Fun as all these sports may be, however, each comes with its own set of hazards.

529,837 injuries for numero uno
vs
490,434 injuries for bicycling!
We can do better than this people! Some of you just aren't trying. Next year we're number one!

I could definitely vouch for #6.
There were numerous times I witnessed some gawker on a treadmill staring at the yoga class go flying off the backend of their machine, whilst drooling.
Then there's the tough guys who try to, again, impress the ladies by benching more than they actually could.
Funny shit, I tell you what.

Going through the top 10 examples made me feel really safe. I never dive into pools, heck I can't even flip turn, so that means I'm super safe. I ignore football, baseball, and ATVing, and I'm doing my best to resist snowboarding again. People in the US play soccer all rough and super serious and shit, so I stay away from all that drama. Bball and cycling are right up there at the top. Both so much fun though.
Someone should make a list of the top 10 most dangerous LA rides. "Rides You're Most Likely to Get Injured On".
